Join Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) for a special Open House event highlighting groundbreaking discoveries from our Gut Immunity Program and offering a behind-the-scenes look at the laboratories where our scientists are advancing the future of immune-mediated digestive health research.
This engaging community event will bring together researchers, clinicians, patients, study participants, advocates and supporters to explore how cutting-edge immunology research is transforming our understanding of gastrointestinal diseases and improving patient care.
Guests will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about current Gut Immunity Program research focused on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), microbiome science, immune regulation and precision medicine.
- Hear directly from BRI scientists and physician collaborators about emerging breakthroughs and future directions.
- Tour BRI labs and core research facilities to see how scientific discoveries move from bench to bedside.
- Meet members of the research teams and ask questions in an interactive setting.
- Explore opportunities for clinical research participation and biorepository contributions.
The event will welcome:
- VMFH Center for Digestive Health patients and families
- BRI gastrointestinal disease biorepository participants
- Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation representatives and community members
- Research supporters, community partners and friends of BRI
Through scientific presentations, guided lab tours and community engagement, the Open House aims to celebrate the vital partnership between researchers, clinicians and participants whose involvement makes discovery possible. Together, we are advancing a deeper understanding of gut immunity and working toward more personalized treatments and better outcomes for people living with inflammatory bowel diseases.
