Lynn Rose, PhD, Promoted to Chief of Scientific Administration

Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Lynn M. Rose, PhD, to Chief of Scientific Administration. This promotion recognizes the many contributions that Dr. Rose has made since joining the institute in 2012, including oversight of several administrative departments that support science at BRI. In addition to her responsibilities for clinical research administration, business development and research compliance, Dr. Rose has helped build new resources within the institute, including the Experimental Medicine Unit and the Tumor Registry program.  Both of these activities are key to building knowledge of the mechanisms responsible for autoimmunity.

Dr. Rose has more than 30 years of experience in biomedical research, including positions in both academia and industry. Her industry experience has included direct responsibility for preclinical, clinical and regulatory programs. At BRI, Dr. Rose has parlayed her extensive experience in biomedical research to foster strong alliances with corporate, government and academic partners. "I look forward to continuing expanding support and resources for our talented researchers, so they can continue making breakthrough discoveries that predict, prevent, halt and ultimately cure diseases of the immune system," said Dr. Rose.
