Thank You
From the dramatic 787 flyover to Jerry Kelly winning his first PGA TOUR Champions, the 2017 Boeing Classic was a fun event for golfers, fans and volunteers! Over 75,000 attendees made the trip to The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge to watch legends of the game like Fred Couples, Fred Funk and Bernhard Langer.
For the past eight years, the Boeing Classic has benefited Benaroya Research Institute and is the largest fundraiser for BRI. These funds provide crucial start-up monies for innovative ideas, new investigators and exciting technology. Also, the Boeing Classic has introduced new audiences to BRI and its world-renowned autoimmune diseases research.
As in years past, the success of the tournament was due in large part to the AMAZING volunteer support that the PGA TOUR Champions event received in 2017. Over 1,000 volunteers generously contributed time, talent and genuine passion throughout the week. The support made an enormous difference and helps to keep the tournament a favorite among spectators, sponsors and the golfers.
Thank you to the tournament organizers, volunteers and sponsors. We hope to see you again at the event in August 2018!
