Background
Dr. DeBerg completed her PhD in physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, using single-molecule fluorescence microscopy approaches to study motor proteins. Following her PhD, Hannah moved to Seattle and completed a postdoc at the University of Washington in the chemistry and biophysics departments. She joined BRI in 2015 as a bioinformatician in Peter Linsley’s laboratory where she became fascinated by the immune system.
Area of Research
Dr. DeBerg currently serves as the Bioinformatics Group Manager where she continues to enjoy working at the intersection of immunology, big data and advanced analysis.
