What Will I Work On?
Potential projects in the Bettelli Lab may focus on:
- The role of STAT-mediated signaling in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and multiple sclerosis.
- The role of enhanced STAT1 signaling in autoimmunity, immunodeficiency and infection.
- The development and functions of pathogenic Th17 and GM-CSF+ T cells.
- The development and function of regulatory T cells in the central nervous system.
- The control of effector and memory T cell responses by Treg.
- The role of DOCK8 in immune cells.
Who Will I Work With?
You will be working in the Bettelli Lab, which is located in the Immunology program at BRI. The Bettelli Lab also works closely with core facilities, including the Bioinformatics Department, Clinical Core, and Cell and Tissue Analysis. BRI is a highly collaborative scientific environment. Therefore, there is potential collaborations with other laboratories in the institute and in other institutions.

Who Should Apply?
We are seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated yet team-oriented individuals with an aptitude for learning and a desire to improve human health. The individuals we are seeking will hold doctoral degrees in immunology or a related field. Expertise in T cell assay, animal models and Flow Cytometry analysis is necessary.
