Human Immunology Project Consortium Respiratory Virus Clinical Study

We’re looking for adults with and without rheumatoid arthritis (RA) to join the Human Immunology Project Consortium Respiratory Virus (HIPC-RV) Clinical Study to help us understand how respiratory viruses like the common cold and COVID-19 impact people with immune system diseases.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age 18 or older
  • Not pregnant or planning pregnancy
  • No regular smoking or vaping
  • No history of significant asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

What will study participants be asked to do?

Study participants will complete at least three visits over two years, taking place before, during and after illness. At visits, we may ask to collect nasal swabs, a blood draw, and/or other additional samples.
