BRI and Virginia Mason investigators are conducting numerous clinical trials and research studies to evaluate novel therapies in rheumatic disease.
Rheumatic diseases encompass more than 100 diseases and conditions characterized primarily by chronic pain and progressive physical impairment of the joints and soft tissues.
These are the most prevalent chronic conditions in the U.S., estimated to affect more than 43 million Americans. Currently, no cures exist for any of these conditions.
