Background
Dr. Peng received his undergraduate degrees from Stanford University and completed medical and graduate studies at the Yale University School of Medicine, followed by internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and rheumatology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. After serving as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pathology and Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis, he held Senior Director positions at Roche Pharmaceuticals and ARYx Therapeutics. He joined Virginia Mason Medical Center and the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason in early 2009.
