Position: Per Diem Registered Nurse
Department: Clinical Research Center (CRC)
Status: PRN – Per Diem
Responsibilities and Qualifications: This position will provide support to the Clinical Research Center by providing various medical services for the subjects participating in research studies.  Responsibilities include starting IVs, performing blood draws, checking vital signs, performing infusions, monitoring participants post infusion and/or procedures and any other nursing related support to the research staff pertinent to participant care. 

This candidate must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State and one year of professional nursing experience.  A BSN is preferred and pediatric experience is a plus. Must possess solid communications and interpersonal skills to utilize with both participants and staff.  Proficient in skills such as IV, documentation and critical thinking.  Some understanding of research concepts is desirable and must be able to work with and meet protocol requirements.
