Responsibilities and Qualifications: A Research Technician II is needed for laboratory experiments in an Immunology lab focusing on the inflammatory and regulatory response.  Duties include tissue culture of cells, FACS analysis, reagent preparation and data acquisition and analysis.  The research scientist will also conduct experiments with experimental animals. Other duties to include supervision of removal and reinstallation of current equipment, ordering of new equipment, establishing ordering for laboratory supplies, acting as safety officer for new laboratory (monitoring hazardous chemicals and satellite accumulation area).

This position requires a BA/BS in a scientific field and a minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible work experience in a scientific research laboratory. Experience with animal handling, colony management, and experimental procedures along with biochemical, molecular and cellular biology techniques is preferred.
