Every day, the scientists at BRI arrive with the hope that today they will make a breakthrough discovery that unlocks the mysteries of diabetes, cancer, arthritis, cardiovascular disease or numerous other autoimmune diseases that currently afflict so many of our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. They are driven by the vision of someday understanding the causes of these diseases and finding the cures.

Our Research Visionaries Campaign encourages individuals, corporations and foundations to create a more direct partnership with the researchers at BRI to increase the rate of discovery in medical research, and to bring the benefits of these discoveries to patients in the Pacific Northwest and around the world.
