Rheumatic Disease
Related Category: Scleroderma The Rheumatology Clinical Research Unit specializes in trials relating to the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, including arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis or spondyloarthropathies), scleroderma, lupus, and other related autoimmune diseases. Many trials are done with a close partnership with the Virginia Mason Sections of Rheumatology & Immunology and several BRI laboratories, working to correlate findings in the labs with clinical diagnosis and outcomes. This emphasis on translational research brings new knowledge from bench-to-bedside, speeding new applications to our patients.
To participate in a BRI clinical trial, please contact the study coordinator listed in each of the study links below, or send an e-mail to the Clinical Research Program. Please click on individual studies for more information.
