Position: Clinical Research Nurse
Department: Clinical Research Center (CRC)
Status: Part Time (20 hours)
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Clinical Research Nurse will support the Clinical Research Center by providing various medical services for the subjects participating in research studies. This may include but it not limited to: starting IV’s, performing blood draws, checking vital signs, performing infusions, monitoring participants post-infusion and/or procedures, and any other nursing related support to the research staff pertinent to participant care. This person would also be available to cover the Clinical Research Center in the absence of the Nurse Manager when needed.

The Clinical Research Nurse must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State, and have one year of professional nursing experience. Pediatric experience is a plus. A BSN is preferred. This candidate must possess solid communication and interpersonal skills to utilize with participants and staff. Some understanding of research concepts is desirable and must be able to work with and meet protocol requirements. Computer and office equipment skills are helpful.
